Genital warts, also called venereal warts, are caused by HPV virus and affect the top layer of the skin around the genital area. This type of virus is spread only through sexual contact with an infected person. In all cases of suspected or confirmed genital warts, you really should see a doctor. You owe it not just for your own health, but for the health of anyone you might ever have sex with.
Genital warts can appear in tiny clusters of bumps and small raised growths or can spread into a large area of the penis or the female genital area. In men, genital warts may be found on the tip of the penis, on the shaft of the penis, on the scrotum or on the anus area. In women, genital wart can be found inside and outside of the vagina. Some women develop genital warts around the cervix area, the uterus and around the anus. According to experts, since the genitalia of female is open and more exposed to infection compared to that of male, females are more at risk of developing complications than their male counterparts when it comes to genital warts.
Although genital warts are very unsightly, they are not really dangerous. In fact, most warts will disappear without treatment. If the immune system of the person infected is strong, the immune system will most likely fight off the virus that caused the wart. In most cases, the auto immune system of the human body can kill the warts in 8 to 13 months from the time it first appeared on the skin. Unfortunately, the immune system of the human body cannot totally eradicate the HPV virus that caused the warts. Therefore, there is no assurance that the warts will not come back after they have disappeared. Studies showed that the growth of warts can be very unpredictable and nobody can really be certain as to whether or not these types of skin diseases will recur or not after some time.
There are home remedies for genital warts that take a more direct approach. You can puncture a Vitamin E oil capsule and smear the oil on your genital warts. But that’s not all. You then smear crushed raw garlic cloves on the warts and cover it all up with adhesive bandage for about three days. Be sure to wash your hands before you wipe the tears from your eyes, or the garlic juice might burn your eyes as well. Some of the home remedies for genital warts will sting at first, but then subside as they battle to get rid of the wart. Hydrogen peroxide is one of the most inexpensive home remedies for genital warts. Every time you have to use the toilet, wipe your genital warts with a clean cotton ball soaked in hydrogen peroxide. The wart should drop off after a few days.
If the warts started to spread uncontrollably and have developed into fleshy, small raised growth on a large portion of the genital area, you’d better see a doctor at once. Although the body can get rid of the warts on its own, there are times when intervention is needed to speed up the process. In most cases, doctors will treat the genital warts with imiquimod, a form of topical cream that is applied directly to the affected area. Some doctors will use podophyllin anti-mitotic solution. For stubborn warts that do not respond to topical cream treatment, the doctor may resort to electric or laser cauterization to burn off the warts.
Unfortunately, there are few successful medical options available. Surgically removing warts is the most common medical procedure. However, the patient is subject to a painful surgical intervention which results in skin damage/scarring along with the probability the warts will return. Besides, these types of treatments have the potential to cause birth defects on pregnant women so it would be a good idea to wait until the woman has given birth before starting any form of treatment.
CURED have included anti-tumor plant material in HPVCurative as HPV causes tumor development. In late 1999, in a collaborative published study conducted by the Department of Oncology, Karolinska Hospital, Stockholm, Sweden, it was demonstrated that the naturally occurring monoterpenoids in HPVCurative prevented mammary carcinomas in rodents, both at the initiation and progression stages. Further, it was reported that the sesquiterpenes in HPVCurative demonstrated anti-tumor effects both in vitro (in the lab) and in vivo (on human subjects). As a result, the anti-tumor properties of the extracts in HPVCurative have been established.
These naturally occurring substances are extracted from plants which are not readily available in the commercial market. However, CURED has secured them in Madagascar and concentrated them in HPVCurative. Article Source:http://www.articlesbase.com/alternative-medicine-articles/removing-genital-warts-956460.html
