Breathing Problems and How to Resolve Them Without Any Medicine

December 1st, 2009 -- Posted in Uncategorized | 0

Welcome back!

Many breathing problems are generally considered to be due to a lack of oxygen. Your airways may be constricted, you may have mucous in the airways, maybe in the lungs, restricting the amount of oxygen getting into the blood.

But, I’m going to turn that idea on its head.

According to Dr Buteyko, a Russian practitioner, you started out on your evolutionary journey on this earth in an atmosphere of high concentrations of carbon dioxide levels.

As you evolved over millennia, you became more used to lower concentrations, but still you need the carbon dioxide in quite high amounts.

When this level falls to critically low levels, you start to experience breathing difficulties. Perhaps a tightness in your chest, maybe an alarming difficulty in drawing in breath.

Scary though that is, it is simply your body shutting down its supply of oxygen for a few moments, to allow the carbon dioxide levels to rise up again.

No one died of asthma attacks before the use of cortisone. Problems such as asthma are not life threatening unless, by the constant use of cortisone, your kidneys no longer manufacture your own supply.

So how do you manage your breathing problems without cortisone?

It’s really simple. You learn to hold your breath. Start to do it on a daily basis and stop as soon as it gets uncomfortable. The more you practice, the longer you’ll be able to comfortably hold your breath.

Then when you experience the onset of a tightness in your chest or asthma, you simply hold your breath for as long as you can. Your carbon dioxide levels increase, and the scary moment is prevented.

Another way to achieve this is to get a paper bag and hold it over your face. By breathing the same air repeatedly, your achieve the same results.

But, by learning to resolve your breathing problems by holding your breath, means you’ll never be caught out without help at hand.

Once people get this concept around their heads and start to practise it, they joyfully tell me of their experiences.

Try resolving your breathing problems the easiest, the cheapest and by far the healthiest way.

An Ear Infection Which is Exquisitely Sensitive

December 1st, 2009 -- Posted in Uncategorized | 0

An ear infection is a common occurrence in children. Why should they occur more frequently in children, rather than adults?

The reason is that a baby does not have an immune system. Initially, they get their immunity from their mother’s milk. Then, as soon as they are weaned, they should start getting health problems. This is in perfect and natural order.

After all, you need to fall off a few times before you get the hang of riding a bicycle. And it’s no different with a child’s immune system. They need to get diseases to get the immune system used to what it will have to do on a regular basis in future. And that is to deal with pathogens and viruses.

Ear infections are not the only thing a child will get, common though they are. They are also likely to suffer from a lot of colds, nose blockages or runny noses, eye symptoms and skin rashes.

If your child has the three vital signs of eating well, sleeping well and has lots of energy, you know their body is coping. They are best left alone to deal with the problem themselves. Just keep an eye on things.

You need to start interfering when one or more of those three vital signs deteriorate. Or when the signs go into the system. While they are located to one area of the body, such as the ear, this is not serious and is best left alone.

But if the ear becomes very painful or the child gets a fever, it means things have moved to a deeper level. Which means the child’s system is not coping and needs some help.

The best help available is homeopathic. Homeopathy supports the body in what it is trying to do, giving the immune system a much needed boost.

One of the main homeopathic medicines for an ear infection which is very painful is Hepar sulphur. Typically the pain is worse in the middle of the night, with the child shrieking with pain. Those who need Hepar sulphur are exquisitely sensitive to pain and to cold air hence the shrieking.

And you’ll not be able to comfort them until you give them the medicine. Then things will suddenly become quiet and peaceful again.
